Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago area for a few years, before attempting her hand at TV as well as films. Anna had her first big role as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. The actress continued to make appearances as an actor in few TV movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 1990's, when she was cast in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was one of her roles. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn also was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast called "Numbered Days". The story of Breaking Bad is driven by the relationship with Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The degrading of this relationship is in line with Walter White's final days.
